All choosed Emsisoft Anti Malware, though one has a Lifetime SuperAntiSpyware Pro subscription (gets rid of many ad/tracking cookies) & two has Lifetime Malwarebytes Anti Malware (great in the backfield), EAM is fully compatible with these & there’s always the option with either choice to ignore the other, this helps to minimize clashing of heads. I explained that scheduled scans of either should be staggered, to prevent both from scanning at once.

About Microsoft Security, for the amount of resources it uses, one would think it to be a great choice, and if one uses CCleaner to delete the logs, it can be seen that it’s scanning neat constant with many logs after 2-3 hours of use, yet can’t catch a threat for anything. So to be honest, it behooves me why Microsoft is even mentioned, it’s not a licensed (subscription based) software (yet) & even if it were, wouldn’t be worth having, other than on a child’s computer whom is doing homework offline only that has been disinfected with a product such as the Emsisoft Emergency Kit to ensure it’s clean, because one cannot depend on Microsoft for this critical task. This isn’t 2009 when MSE racked up awards (by AV-Comparatives) for having the best ‘free antivirus’.

Like their OS’s, Microsoft also let their security do to the dogs.

Emsisoft is the best protection for today’s Windows OS’s that’s full of security leaks & secret uploading of customers data, and I’ve personally seen graphs of the graphics card uploading data to Microsoft. If GPU’s can keep the world’s largest virtual currency in Bitcoin flowing, Microsoft can use the same technology to get your data.

Since I abonanded Windows 10 Pro, shortly after discovering this & seeing my PC’s were using more resources than less, I didn’t stick around to see if Emsisoft is blocking those leaks, the problem is that since it’s a Windows service, these are normally allowed to run. Yet how can a OS not HIPPA compliant for patient privacy for the reasons above (& a whole lot more), be allowed to do as it pleases w/out the choice of security installed plugging the leaks.

Looks like I’ll have to use my last EIS license on my one virtual machine of Windows 10 Pro & see how it rates. I do know that the Ethernet activity is far greater, even at idle for 10+ minutes, so something’s fishy going on. Hopefully there’s a control in the EIS software to block whatever process we desire.

Security corporations should not see uploading of personal data as ‘normal’ Windows process & shut any such processes down at the target. Emsisoft is sophisticated enough to make sure their subscriber’s data isn’t stolen by any process.
