Throughout generations, people have repeated unconscious generational cycles that have impacted how they feel internally, how they feel in their relationships, and how they parent. My purpose is to help people identify and break generational patterns so they can live more fulfilling lives, feel more internal peace, and experience a deeper connection in their relationships.
Yolanda Renteria, LPC, is a member of the Verywell Mind Review Board.
Since 2012, Yolanda has worked with children, teens, and adults in individual, couples, family, and group settings.
In 2017, she decided to specialize in the treatment of trauma. Since then, she has received training in dialectical behavioral therapy, somatic experiencing, brainspotting, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), safe and sound protocol, and somatic attachment.
Yolanda has spoken at national and state conferences, summits, online podcasts, and is a contributor for The Gottman Institute.
Yolanda is also a content creator for various social media platforms where she helps people identify and break generational cycles.
Yolanda received her bachelor’s degree in social work and master’s degree in community counseling from Northern Arizona University.
